DEI Policy

Turnip + Duck is an equal opportunity employer. All employment decisions are made on the basis of a combination of experience, qualifications, merit and project need. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, age, educational background, disability, or any other applicable characteristics protected by law.

Our Partnerships

Through its creative partnerships Turnip + Duck takes great care to find the right partners to help bring our shows to life. We always look to work with other companies and individuals who espouse the same values as we do, in particular studios who share our ethos and outlook with regards to diversity, equity and inclusion. We aim to work with others who make us better.

Our Shows

As a creator studio generating original shows for young audiences, our aim is to engage the eyes, ears and minds of the next generation, and we do not take this privileged position lightly. DEI and Representation are at the heart of Turnip + Duck shows, and we are actively putting diverse and underrepresented talent on screen, and showing young audiences of all shapes, sizes and abilities that they are seen, heard, recognised, and celebrated.

Our Promise

We will always endeavour to prioritise diversity, equity and inclusion during all stages of our creative and business processes, and to be aware of our own blind spots and unconscious bias. We want to celebrate diversity, cultivate a creative working environment based on mutual respect, and create inclusive working environments for our teams, as we work together to create award-winning content that reflects the audiences we wish to serve.
